Product Detail:

Rhode Island's Old Cars Today: 1970 to 1979 includes over 230 full color photographs of over 160 automobiles of this decade.
The decade begins with huge cars like the Chrysler 300s, Bonnevilles and Cadillacs. The reader also views a wide range of muscle cars. Then in October 1973 the gas crisis takes hold to forever change the automotive industry.
Some folks have found the "one" and have no intention of restoring it. They just drive it and enjoy it. Most have restored their cars to original condition, although many have beefed up the power under the hood. Each person has their own idea.
The author has traveled from Woonsocket to Westerly and Nasonville to Newport in search of old cars and trucks to photograph to complete this series that includes; Rhode Island's Old Cars Today: 1905 to 1949, Rhode Island's Old Cars Today: 1950 to 1959, Rhode Island's Old Cars Today: 1960 to 1969 and Rhode Island's Old Trucks Today: 1921 to 1979. Each book also includes interesting events and facts that occured in the months and years of each era for your enjoyment.
