Product Detail:

Forgotten Poems of Helen O. Larson is a collection of over 200 of her personal poems.
Chapter One begins with World Events from 1886 to 1997. It is followed by World Events of 1999. Chapter Three she writes about all the holidays in the calendar year. It ends with more poems on many subjects.
Gramma Larson was born in 1910 and wrote her first poem at the age of twelve. It was about her one room school as it was being torn down in the village of Rockland during the building of the Scituate Reservoir.
She didn't write again until the 1940s. However, she married, had children and with a busy life drifted away from writing until the 1960s. From the 1960s thru 2005 she penned 1,700 poems and had many published. Her son has now published over 1,000 or the 1,700.
She said many times she could never write poetry like this with only an eighth grade education. She always believed she was God's instrument to hold the pen, the ink would just flow into words on the paper.
